Objective:

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Business Development Manager in ensuring achievement of revenue objectives for the assigned territory. Revenue is to be generated from a variety of Sales and Marketing duties, including researching and pursuing new referral sources and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing service referral sources.


The Business Development Coordinator is also responsible for assisting the Business Development Manager in ensuring achievement of CAREGiver recruitment and staffing goals for the assigned territory. The Business Development Coordinator will assist in establishing and maintaining productive recruitment resources and relationships. CAREGiver Inquiries are to be generated from a variety of sources including current relationships with recruitment sources, new relationships with recruitment sources, communication via all sources of social media and others as assigned by the Business Development Manager.

 

This position is responsible for reporting sales and recruitment results in moving relationships forward to the Business Development Manager on a weekly basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating documented progress and inquiry production in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Networking and CAREGiver Recruitment.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reflect the core values of Best Senior Care, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise).
  • Responsible for assisting the Business Development Manager in researching and developing client relationships and producing referrals; performing all phases of the sales process, including preparation and documentation of cold calls, follow-up calls, diagnosis of referral source and client needs, recommendation of appropriate Home Instead® services and additional community resources, maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts, including follow-up, as necessary.
  • Achieve service inquiry generation objectives for assigned territory with a primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include, but are not limited to, health departments, churches, funeral homes, libraries, banks, insurance agencies, senior centers, etc.
  • In conjunction with the Business Development Manager, develops sales and marketing plans, detailing weekly and monthly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Responsible for assisting the Business Development Manager in researching and developing CAREGiver recruitment resource relationships and producing CAREGiver inquiries; performing all phases of the CAREGiver recruitment process; developing and implementing new recruitment strategies online and within the community.
  • Achieve CAREGiver inquiry generation objectives for assigned territory with a primary goal of recruiting new CAREGivers to adequately meet customer service needs.
  • This position requires establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all related recruiting resources. Professional and organizational skills are also required.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Home Instead Senior Care brand. Effectively presents Home Instead Senior Care marketing materials and services to referral providers and recruitment sources, including 1:1 meetings, group meetings, as well as assisting in the planning and arranging of formal group presentations to referral providers and recruitment sources.
  • Assist Business Development Manager in development and distribution of all types of advertising materials (printed, audio, video, etc.).
  • Assist the Business Development Manager in maintenance of marketing on various social media outlets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls; presentations; and follow-up activities within the assigned territory, including the use of software to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
  • Assist in maintenance of the database of qualified leads from referrals through face-to-face cold calling on referral providers, email, telephone and Web.
  • Conduct Service Inquiries as needed following the consultative sales process
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects, and co-workers.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client/CAREGiverSM introductions as needed
  • Participate in various PR strategies
  • Other duties as assigned by Business Development Manager

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Related business or sales experience (consultative sales a plus)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work in the field, and be insurable.

  • Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Best Senior Care, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively

  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work evenings or weekends as required
