Job Scope

 

Responsible to direct all Supply Chain activities that support the Business Unit(s) and CS&L strategies and objectives.  Coordinate all Supply Chain initiatives with CS&L, Marketing, RDQ, Manufacturing Operations, and Third Party Logistics or Co-Pack providers. Direct the production planning and scheduling functions for assigned plants, co-packers and repackers.  Lead the development of strategies to execute short, medium and long range planning centered around manufacturing and production capabilities.  Responsible for functional leadership in Product Supply while driving revenue generation through CFR performance delivery, optimizing cash flow investment and minimizing manufacturing and distribution cost through productivity initiative support.  Key leader in the supply portion of the Integrated Business Planning process. Leads CS&L KPI/target development and contributes to Annual Contract business planning. 

 

Key Resonsibilities

 

-Responsibilities include maintenance of customer service case fill objectives, control of finished goods and raw material/packaging inventory investment levels, field inventory/transportation/warehousing management, effective deployment of product, materials management, production planning, strategic transportation and warehousing analysis and planning, demand forecast variance analysis and adjustment, effective communication with all involved functional groups, and the development and supervision of department personnel.

- Oversee the effective physical distribution of Company(s) products ensuring efficient warehousing and transportation to satisfy customer requirements.

- Lead development and delivery of long term roadmap for service, waste and inventory objectives to create CFR and inventory/waste reduction sustainability. Provide project sponsorship and allocate resources in support of objectives.

- Lead Capacity Planning team and influence capital investment strategy in support of sustainable business growth.

- Key leader in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to drive positive revenue results and strong business planning in extended horizon.

- Facilitate effective, proactive communication throughout organization of customer service results, execution strategies to optimize CFR, supply outlook to enhance optimized sales planning.

- Sourcing cost optimization

Minimum Education Experience Required

 

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics/Ops Management, Business Administration or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years of business management experience in Supply Chain including, but not limited to, Product Supply, Demand Planning, Logistics Operations, and Materials Management.  Cross-functional experience preferred, i.e. Operations, Procurement, R&D, Finance, Sales.
