Our Opportunity

  • You will be responsible for growing and cultivating assigned territory for year over year sales growth.

  • You will support and promote Midwest products and services in a knowledgeable and professional manner and make recommendations to the Sales Manager on how products and/or services provided by Midwest can be improved.

  • You will analyze territory and determine frequency of calls on each assigned account; plan sales trips and schedule time effectively; and achieve target number of quality customer meetings and calls per month.

  • You will use your proven sales success to meet or exceed sales and gross margin profit goals which are cooperatively established in conjunction with the Sales Manager.

  • You will be responsible for keeping customer profiles current and ensure all information is up-to-date; accurately complete and return all necessary paperwork in a timely manner; and provide timely follow up on all sales leads.

  • You will participate in seminars, tradeshows, open houses etc. to market Midwest products to new and existing customers.
     

Our Desired Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of sales experience, and 5+ years of experience in the sign, screen printing and graphics industries or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

  • Proven knowledge of successful sales techniques

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with manufacturers and customers

  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; CRM knowledge is a plus

  • Skilled at written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Ability to prioritize and plan

  • Proven ability to be persuasive in positive or negative situations

  • Ability to develop innovative approaches and ideas

  • Ability to provide an insurable driving record

  • Requires overnight travel as needed
