Our valued client is looking for paint line employees on 2nd shift. They distribute wholesale building supplies for general contractors and construction companies. The products include siding, trim, doors, and building materials. They are looking for individuals to operate their paint booths, also known as infeed/outfeed operators. This is a very automated position. They have several infeed/outfeed systems and 2 people operate each line. The individuals are responsible for loading product (boards, panels, etc) by hand or by using a lift onto the machine. Then based on the specific order they have to choose the paint color and enter it into a computer. They will have to make sure the paint is connected to the machine. Based on the size of the boards or product, they will have to raise or lower the booth to get it set correctly. They have to watch the paint machine to ensure it is running properly. It is important to be able to spot if the color is incorrect or the boards are not getting painted completely. They will be responsible for performing quality checks where they will measure the color and chips to ensure customer standards. A lot of the position is automated, but the biggest thing is having attention to detail and being able to detect if the paint is incorrect.
If they are slow on the line, they will use basic hand tools and air tools to assemble pallets for shipping.

Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 3:15pm-3:45am
2 15 minute paid breaks
1 30 minute unpaid break
