Process Development Chemist

Key Responsibilities:
-Follow instructions in protocols and development of batch records

-Prepare reagents for chemical processes

-Work with process development scientists and team leaders to execute process development experiments

-Adhere to all environmental health and safety policies

-Maintain meticulous records and document work according to good documentation practices

-Establish working relationships with project teams to satisfy demanding process development time lines

Must Haves:
-BS Degree in chemistry with 2-3 years of experience in organic synthesis OR MS Degree with focus on chemistry and organic synthesis.

-Experience working in a chemical laboratory setting either in an industrial or academic setting

-Possess theoretical background necessary to perform standard chemical calculations

-Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred:
-Prior pharma or regulated experience
