Responsibilities:

The Manager Financial Systems plays a critical role in supporting Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) short, medium and long term financial plans. They will be responsible for the administration of financial systems including our Retail Point of Sale System, JDA (Merchandise/Inventory System), Lawson (General Ledger), and Prophix (Financial Reporting Database) and will be the business lead partnering with IT to develop long term financial systems strategy. The position will report to the Executive Director of Finance for BSRO and will have 2 direct reports.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for understanding how transactions flow through end to end and for managing process maps and documentation
* Liaison with IT for any business related impacts from changes to our core systems
* Research, investigate and solve any issues related to core financial systems
* Administrator for retail POS system and Lawson including trouble shooting and partnering with IT on any programming needs
* Responsible for loading Prophix Database that is used for financial reporting within BSRO using downloads from JDA.
* Owner of Report Web our field facing reporting tool including troubleshooting and/or modifying existing reports as well as partnering with the field and IT on creating new reporting.
o Listens to field feedback and brings reports to life by scoping work and partnering with IT to develop
o Manages the number and complexity of the reporting to simplify current structure focusing on the vital few
* Business lead on Lawson GL conversion project over 18 months
o Responsible for influencing strategic direction and providing thought leadership on project direction
o Core lead on working though tactical plans to successfully transition to new GL including understanding risks and solving challenges
* Being fiscally responsible for the performance results.
* Interacting extensively with the Retail Operations leadership team and becoming a trusted advisor to the business
* Effectively leading and influencing indirect reports
* Involvement and ownership in enterprise special projects to support ongoing personal development
* Thinking broadly about the organization and determining the tasks/responsibilities necessary to provide the appropriate support
* Influencing fact-based operating and financial decisions
* Identify financial opportunities using trend and root cause analysis
* Partner with other SSC Finance Leaders to ensure accurate and timely information around spend

Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance / MBA Preferred
* Strong cross-functional leadership, support and communication skills
* 5+ years finance and operating leadership experience
* Extensive experience with Financial Systems
* Experience with Lawson and JDA a plus
* Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills
* Strong working knowledge of retail required, previous retail a plus
