Technician

PURPOSE:
Test and help in troubleshoot system assemblies, Operation of equipment as defined in the work instruction for each process.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITY / DUTIES:
Follow instructions from Engineers and customer documents. Follow Test protocols. Record data required for statistical process control
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: (include experience required with specific software applications, equipment, or specific certifications and education requirements such as MSME, MSEE, APICS, etc)
REQUIRED Basic Qualifications (must have skills):
Must have worked in testing for PCBA and operating systems (functional test).
Required 2 to 5 years experienced in Debug and Test.

PREFERRED Qualifications (nice to have skills):
Computer operation, Working with Word/Excel, SQL database

Education or Training:
College Education, shall be able to read/interpret schematics, work with test scripts and diagnostics. Be able to understand verbal & written instruction in English.

Tested and troubleshoot the 3D LiDAR-based sensing systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), transportation, security, industrial automation, and 3D mapping.

• Responsible for executing test and measurement activities using lab tools per R&D engineering instruction.
• Use Python scripts under LINUX to control and test custom hardware and perform data acquisition.
• Use test equipment such as meters, scopes, computers, to determine the causes of mechanical/electronic failures.
• Monitor instrument performance and reacts in a timely manner to routine and urgent maintenance requirements
• Prepare and presented reports of test data and measurement results.
• Work with the Design Validation Support team in debug, troubleshooting and failure analysis investigation.
• Create or update work instructions and maintenance logs.
