Mechanical Designer- CREO or PRO -E - Full-time / Part-time

POSITION: MECHANICAL DESIGNER

3-5 Must Haves:

• Experience with CREO or Pro -E
• Familiar with 3D Design
• Worked with Bill of Materials (BOM)
  
  Summary:
• The CAD Designer position creates and maintains drawings of various product designs and applies principles, concepts, practices and standards of professional drafting field to projects and assignments.
• These drawings may be used for procurement of components or for the manufacturing of products.
• Drawings are basic, detailed parts to complex final assemblies.
• The Designer II, will be required to create drawings using AutoCAD and PRO-E drafting/modeling software packages.

Job Responsibilities

• Create detail, subassembly, and final assembly drawings of various products from sketches, job sheets, or markups of similar designs as required.
• Monitor/administrate ECR system. Review & approve ECR's for distribution. Verify ECR approvals & address comments. Perform required drafting changes or create new drawings as required.
• Update engineering design packages and prepare files for distribution as required.
• Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
• Maintain CAD files.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned/required.
• Working with PRO E
