Hughes Company is currently seeking to hire a Project Manager that will oversee jobs from beginning to completion. This position will require candidates the following job responsibilities.
- Managing, scheduling and working with subcontractors to ensure the job is completed in accordance with deadlines and all requirements.
- Must provide proper instruction and management to subcontractors and field employees.
- Ensure that proper safety procedures and equipment are being implemented properly on site.
- Ensure that the job site is being kept clean, up to proper code with ordinances and permits.
- Candidate will be required to manage the contract with subcontractors and ensure that scheduling is on course for completion.
- Interpretation of drawings, understanding the scope to ensure that the job is completed as instructed.
- Scheduling is very important; scheduling of equipment, subcontractors and employees, candidate must be very organized.
This is a full-time salaried position at a well-established company with plenty of opportunity. Our jobs are located within GA and mostly the metro Atlanta area. Reliable transportation is a must as well as a professional demeanor and attitude. The salary for this position will be determined based off of experience. The ideal candidate would have 10+ years in Commercial Construction with the minimum of 5 years in field management.
