Equipment Technician, Direct Hire

LOCATION: Vancouver, WA

SALARY: $11.00-$15.00/hour DOE

JOB DESCRIPTION: A growing, local company seeks an efficient and customer service oriented Equipment Technician to join their team in an exciting opportunity! If you are looking to gain experience in the construction industry and don't mind getting your hands dirty, we want to hear from you! The Equipment Technician will assist customers with equipment check-in, outs, and basic operation knowledge. Hours for this position are full time Monday - Friday, overtime may be required. Primary duties to the position includes:

- Using pressure washers to clean rental equipment.

- Loading and unloading equipment.

- Informing customers on proper use of the equipment.

- Verifying proper fuel and function level of equipment.

- Ensuring all rental equipment has the required keys and are properly tagged.

- Maintaining overall cleanliness of the work yard.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate for the position will meet the following qualifications

- Ability to read, write, and speak English.

- At least two years of customer service experience required.

- A passion for learning the ins and outs of heavy equipment highly desired!

- Must have strong communication and problem solving skills.

- Ability to work independently.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.

- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record are required.

- Must have High School diploma or equivalent.

- Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check required.
