Community & State Encounter team has oversight of complete, timely and accurate encounter submissions to state partners. This includes working with health plans and states on process improvements, implementing new requirements and analyzing current production results. This role will part of a team working on a specific state’s encounter submission performance.
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Financial completeness, contractual performance metric and submission statistic report creation and analysis
Identify and document member, provider and / or claim process changes needed to improve encounter results
Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
Work with the IT Department to monitor production process and implement system changes to meet state requirements

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, or related field
2+ years of experience in business and / or finance analysis
2+ years of experience in data analysis
Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Excel and Access
Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures (experience with SQL)
Claims experience
Excellent communication, time / project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate data
Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
