National Account Coordinator -- Media

Spectrum Reach currently seeks a National Sales Account Coordinator for our Media office in Rochester or Buffalo, NY. Position may be based in either location TBD.

Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Assist with all support activities between National Sales Manager, Spectrum Reach Traffic Department, National Cable Communications and Clients
  • Communicates daily on the phone and through email with media buying agency contacts and national sales reps concerning order confirmation, revision, make goods and other stewardship considerations related to all cable television schedules emanating from the Media sales office.
  • Works through billing/invoice discrepancies as needed
  • Works with billing department to update billing information on AE’s accounts to ensure that accounts are set up correctly in CRM and Eclipse.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload based on sales team’s needs and internal
  • Manager and support development of National Sales database
  • Maintains assigned region Electronic Media Kit (aka:EMK)
  • Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external customers on a daily basis.
  • Prepares graphically rich and professional PowerPoint Presentations
  • Works with National Sales Manager on the design and development of Region National Sales Newsletter
  • Works with National Sales Manager on design and development of National Sales Packages
  • Ensures Region rate Cards are current and posted according to the direction of the National Sales Manager.
  • Downloads revenue reports into excel format and sorts data according to the direction of the National Sales Manager
  • Maintains accurate record keeping of National Sales Incentive Programs
  • Works with sales management to implement sales contest boards and tracking.
  • Schedules and Manages travel itineraries for National Sales Manager
  • Manages and submits all Travel and Entertainment expenses on behalf of the National Sales Manager


Position Requirements:
  • Solid skills in Excel spreadsheet development and data sort management.
  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, proactive and collaborative work spirit
  • 3-4 years of overall work experience
  • 1-2 years of sales related experience
  • Prior experience in Media Sales preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Knowledge of advertising and production functions
  • Intermediate knowledge of personal computer and software applications (i.e. cable billing system, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Proficiency with CRM System preferred
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
