Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various letter campaigns sent to providers / physicians regarding their billing practices.  The candidate will support short and long term operational and strategic business activities by developing, enhancing, tracking and maintaining operational information and models and claims data.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain database of information for each letter campaign
Manage projects / campaigns and letters according to turn around time expectations to assure accurate financial reporting
Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate data                                                                                                                                                               
Working knowledge of relational databases, database structure
Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data
Ability to present analysis and interpretation of data for operational and business review and planning
Dashboard reporting and other external customer reporting as needed                                                                            
 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or equivalent work experience
3+ year of experience in business / finance analysis
3 years experience as a data programmer
2 years experience with medical claims data
2 years experience with SAS / Netezza / Aginity
Strong attention to detail
Advanced level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access)
Experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documents the information
Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Tableau
Experience with Alteryx
Experience with Cognos
Experience working with physician billing office
