Every manager is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of his or her store. In addition to ensuring
that the store contributes to the increased profitability of the company, all managers must adhere to company
policies and procedures.

Job Knowledge and Responsibilities
Perform specific tasks as assigned by the Store Manager and First Assistant Manager, Supervisors, or Office
Personnel.
Keep updated with the company price book, operations manual, bulletins, memos, and other pertinent
information provided by the store manager or the company.
Adhere to all city, county, and state tobacco and liquor regulations.
Share the responsibility for controlling store inventory.
Create a positive store culture by treating employees fair and with respect.
Accurately post sales, invoices, markups and markdowns, store use of merchandise, voids, and bad
merchandise write-offs, within established guidelines; perform category counts as directed.

Ensure Store Manager is advised of all cash (to include cash over/shorts in excess of $5.00), sales and/or operation discrepancies.

Planning, Organizing, and Accountability
Observe shift operating hours at all times, as assigned by the Store Manager.
In the absence of the Store Manager and First Assistant Manager, must assign team members as needed to ensure all shifts are covered. Must follow work schedule as posted unless changes are made in advance with
the Store Manager.
Assist in cashier training as directed.
