Overview
Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing. Provides marketing thought leadership for assigned category, including development of annual brand plans, creative on marketing strategies and communication, understanding of target consumer with key insights, product line innovation, and P&L management. Lead cross functional teams to develop, test and implement product initiatives. Execute the marketing communication initiatives that support the national and test calendars.
Specific Responsibilities Include
  • Develop detailed test and marketing plans to achieve stated objectives
  • Develop and execute marketing communication programs
  • Project and timeline management for national and test initiatives
  • Writing of internal communications, including product/communication briefs, charters
  • Budget management for programs as assigned
This position will be based at The Wendy's Company headquarters in Dublin, a suburb of Columbus, OH. The Wendy's Company is the world's second largest quick-service hamburger company. Education / Experience

  • Master's Degree: Marketing or MBA
  • 2-3 years experience National Marketing for Retail or QSR brand
  • Business case writing and demonstrated marketing financial analysis
  • Demonstrated Experience leading cross functional teams
  • 3 years Brand product management experience, including innovation
  • Management of Advertising Agency in Communication Development
