Summary:

Direct the sales, PR, conference planning and marketing activities and department functions for GTLC & FRC including interactions with all department heads, local, regional, and state tourism communities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all group business including weddings, family reunions, non-room special events, and meetings and conventions.
  • Develop and maintain GTLC's & FRC's web site to be competitively superior in the market place.
  • General promotion of GTLC & FRC including all collateral (i.e. electric and printed promotions, brochures, etc.)
  • Develop and execute the annual marketing, PR and sales plans with corporate team and local regional and state partners.
  • Coordinates public relations by writing, editing and distributing press releases, packets, and slides to interested media.
  • Participates in state and local public relations efforts in conjunction with the Wyoming Division of Tourism and JH Chamber.
  • Insure that all administrative policies and proceedures are followed.
  • Develops and maintains branding for properties, outlets and systems both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for the oversight and updating of the company's website and overall digital presence.
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to meet annual group, tour and transiant business goals.
  • Develop and execute a M&S plans to maximize F&B, activity and all other ancillary guest spend revenues.
  • Overseee and provide leadership for the conference services planner and doordinator.
  • Obtain NPS approval for all collatoral materials both print and electronic.
  • Provide direction and leadership for the GTLC & FRC Social Media plan and its implementation.
  • Committed to superior guest service and quality standards. Assist with investigations of guest accidents and follow-up as needed.
  • Entrusted with protecting the environment of Grand Teton National Park. Responsible for carrying out and sharing our core values of energy and water conservation, use of renewable energy, waste reduction, protection of wildlife habitat, and environmental education.
  • Responsible for working in a safe and healthy manner
  • Other Duties Assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • College Degree.
  • 7-10 years work experience in a similar role.
  • 2-5 years supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with sales systems such as Delphi.
  • Abillity to maintain and foster relationships.
  • Digital marketing experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
