Store Administrator

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Store Administrator is responsible for characterizing resilient customer service skills, and sharing a positive, "can-do" attitude. This leader must demonstrate a high level of skill that can be translated into strong administrative organization and execution in all areas of the job by providing accurate records of store sales and related transactions while supporting Store Management and the overall operating plan, and performing "store level" human resources and personnel functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO
• Supports Front End and Store Operations as needed.
• Maintains and submits as needed daily/weekly reports and sales information. Assists with billing and invoices.
• Coordinates and maintains all aspects of the store recruiting, hiring, and new employee training processes. Manages the job-posting, pre-employment drug testing, and tax credit processes, and reviews applications, conducts screening interviews and coordinates department manager interviews. May attend outside recruiting activities, such as job fairs, and maintains recruiting materials, applications, policy sign off forms, etc. Completes the new hire process, coordinates training, and conducts orientation and other training programs, and retains records.
• Orders and assigns uniforms, nametags, and miscellaneous store supplies. Handles outgoing/incoming phone calls, mail, e-mail, and maintains miscellaneous office files. Updates break room information/communication boards as needed.
• Serves as liaison between the Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits Departments. Reviews associate time records for compliance with Company policies. Submits and processes payroll on a timely basis. Maintains all Time and Attendance reports, Time and Attendance Correction Forms, schedules and personnel records in compliance with Company guidelines. Reports attendance problems as appropriate.
• Ensures that minor associates provide work certificates prior to beginning work, if any are required, and assists management that they are scheduled and working in compliance with state laws.
• Assists management in compliance of HIPAA and other required programs.
• Coordinates service and safety-related activities.
• Supports the store management team and performs other duties as requested or required.
• Acquires approval, issues, records, and budgets for store donations.
• Coordinates recalls, delegates and ensures timely response. Communicates with management on response once completed.
• Maintains absolute confidentiality about all sensitive details obtained by virtue of the position and performs job duties with honesty and integrity, in compliance with Company policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• May sit, stand, and/or walk for long periods of time, move, bend, stoop, kneel, twist and turn frequently. Ability to reach, lift and maneuver items of varying dimensions and sizes up to approximately 20 lbs. Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination are necessary.
• Strictly adheres to confidentiality requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of cash handling and balancing, company policies, benefits, scheduling tools, payroll processing, hiring, and training is required.
• Must work efficiently through organizational and problem-solving skills. Must concentrate and deal with interruptions well, work independently, and take initiative.
• Requires knowledge of one and two step math calculations (i.e., addition, subtraction, and percent calculations) and basic computer skills.
• Operates calculator, telephone, computer software and electronic equipment to order products, performs cash balance, plans and performs personnel functions.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills and leadership skills, while demonstrating an understanding of Company Core Values as reflected in personal and professional conduct.
• Must be friendly, courteous, and sensitive, and maintain professional demeanor in dealing with customers, co-workers and vendors. Must comply with appropriate grooming and dress code standards. Mental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.
• Good attendance is required.
• May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. Scheduled hours will vary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Generally works in a temperature controlled office environment.
• Occasional travel, including overnight travel, may be required.
