About this job

This person is working with the Borrower Services DRS department in which they are working as the Rehab Follow Up Specialist. After someone has paid 2 months of their student loan payments, the customer will be directed to them. They will be the ones that follow up with them each month to remind the customers of their upcoming payments. They continue to do this until the customer has made 9 months of payments.

DAY TO DAY
They are responsible for guiding students through the completion on their student loan repayment program
They contact and notify student borrowers for various events, requirements, and discrepancies that occur.
Record and update account activity including functions and special projects including address changes, adding/editing phone numbers. references, payment schedules and assisting with document submissions
Assist in training new hires
Reach out to student borrower's regarding: missing documents, reminder calls, credit card declines, and approaching completion of the program
Perform administrative and clerical duties: reporting, monitoring, documenting account updates.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of customer service experience, either retail, call center or office setting
  • Goal Oriented
  • Attention to detail
