Aerotek is hiring for 20 medical documentation reviewers in the Virginia Beach area!
Summary of Position
A medical customer service rep is responsible for reviewing and processing medical documentation sent by healthcare providers for Veterans. Must maximize productivity, perform highly accurate data entry of personally identifiable information, and review other correspondences received from healthcare providers. Some heavy outbound calling may be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Documents transactions in appropriate medical management system
Writes responses to inquiries
Contacts healthcare provider offices by telephone, collects medical notes and forwards to the VA
Identifies, analyzes and resolves a variety of document issues
Identifies, analyzes and resolves a variety of scheduling issues
Contacts healthcare providers to confirm appointments
Required to work outside of normally scheduled hours as mandated by client, project and/or workload (e.g. evenings, weekends, and/or holidays)
Regular and on-time attendance
This position starts at 11/hr but increases once you go permanent with the company. You must be willing to work long/late hours and even work Saturdays.
