Aerotek is currently looking for a licensed clinician to fill a Behavior Health Care Manager role in a Health Insurance company in Louisville, KY (East).
Behavior Health Care Manager to review clinical information from provider against medical necessity criteria. We are looking for someone who has a current, active unrestricted license as an RN, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMSW, LMHC, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LBA (Licensed Behavioral Analyst), LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist.
Care Manager will work on multi-disciplinary team with Medical Director to ensure quality treatment delivery for members. We are looking for someone who is motivated by team-centered approach to wrapping services around Medicaid members.
Care Manager will perform psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder assessment, coordination, implementation, case planning, monitoring, and evaluating to promote quality member outcomes, to optimize member health benefits, and to promote effective use of health benefits and community resources.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have an MS or MA in social work, counseling, nursing or a related behavioral health field; 3 years experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Candidate must have a current active unrestricted license as an RN, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LBA (as allowed by applicable state laws), LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist, to practice as a health professional within the scope of licensure in applicable states or territory of the United States required
- Has previous experience in case management or utilization review with a broad range of experience with complex psychiatric/substance abuse cases.
Hours and shift:
Working 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
