Primary Responsibilities:

Lead multiple complex projects to achieve key Program business objectives
Prioritize the flow of work for the development teams by overseeing the sequencing of the program backlog
Manage the development team to complete all aspects of the SDLC
Act as the voice of the customer; communicate new requirements, modifications, and timeframes to the program leadership
Communicate and agree upon PI and sprint level workload with the agile development team to utilize available capacity and effectively deliver solutions
Collaborate with system architects, defining and maintaining nonfunctional requirements to ensure it meets relevant standards and quality expectations
Participate in planning events preceding each increment of development, as well as retrospective to identify what worked well / didn’t work well
Actively participate in both the system demos and the continuous improvement process following each increment of development
Report on the status of team level development progress to business leaders
Predict emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them
Participate in the development of business strategy
Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and / or approaches
Rollout incremental software to the consumer base once it becomes available
Organize weekly domain meetings; coordinate meeting content and onboard consumers as software becomes available
Participate in the Product Management Committee to communicate, schedule, and function as a Product Owner

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Health Administration related field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience working with product backlogs and the SDLC
3+ years of experience working with development teams sized at 10-15 members
3+ years of experience working within an agile methodology, with a very good understanding of the various ceremonies involved
The ability to effectively communicate with the consumer base, to review where features stand, and exchange information
The ability to multi-task throughout the day and get work accomplished while attending meetings
The ability to think on your feet, in a dynamic challenging environment
Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO)
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with scaled agile framework (SAFe)
Experience working in both waterfall and agile worlds, and knowledge with converting from waterfall to agile
Previous Healthcare Industry experience (insurance related)
Experience with detailed Project Management and managing multiple tasks to completion
Experience working with CA Agile Central
