Act as the internal liaison for sales representatives to navigate quote and proposal creation. Focus on the importance of building team relationships with co - workers to inspire team cohesion and superior product delivery. Serve as the primary point of contact for day - to - day sales opportunity status monitoring and ensuring sales systems reflect accurately. Person in this function will work closely with sales on new, renewal or up - selling, but do not have specific sales goal accountability or primary responsibility to close sales.Primary Responsibilities:Provide Key Accounts new business sales support for the Account Executives handling cases in the 100 - 3000 segment for Medical and Specialty productsCoordinate and execute the new business pre - sale process to achieve increased profitable revenue growthScrubs pre - saleCommunicate with brokers in the absence of Sales Team through phone and emailObtains missing information from the brokers / consultants or our sales teamAnalyzes case information and performs initial field underwritingCollects and analyzes Underwriting responsesCoordinates case strategy and underwriting issues with Account ExecutivesPerforms quality review on proposal / financial documents and coordinates printing and collation with Administrative Assistant, if needParticipates in special projects as requested by managementProvides new business process subject matter expertiseMaintain and update processes as neededProvide feedback to management on market trends as represented by our prospects / broker / consultantsManage email traffic from specialty opportunities Weekly Pipeline Reports for Account Executive / SpecialtyAssist with the implementation of sold groupsWeekly Pipeline Reporting for New, Renewal, medical, and Specialty

Requirements

Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDExperience processing requests for proposals with Customer Relations Management (CRM)Ability to obtain a Missouri or Kansas (depending on state of residence) Health and Life Insurance License within 90 days of employmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)Experience in a healthcare sales support roleExperience within a Sales Support RoleCareers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
