As a Starbucks sourcing administrator, Finance and Accounting partner, you will . . .


Contribute to Starbucks success by management and support of sourcing activities. Responsible for: ensuring the flow of goods through management of orders and other activities related to enabling buying; identifying, creating and implementing process improvement initiatives related to systems, tools and databases; collaborating internally and with suppliers to gather and analyze data, develop insights, negotiate deadlines, and support structure and deliverables.


Leveraging your previous experience, we will enable you to:

 

- Deliver the execution of item and supplier set ups through using SharePoint, PIM and other related systems/tools

- Create and manage orders (purchase orders, blanket purchase orders, etc.)

- Manage Oracle Purchasing troubleshooting and associated reports/actions by working with Oracle, HUB, Amer EBS, STR, and OTM systems

- Manage projects

- Develop competency in program and project management tools and techniques

- Proficiently utilize sources for data and insights

- Identify, create and implement process improvements, including analyzing current processes, tools, systems and databases

- Participate on various process improvement initiatives as a subject matter expert in cross-functional teams

- Negotiate with suppliers on deadlines, support structure and deliverables

- Demonstrate effective cross-functional collaboration across the enterprise

- Collaborate effectively with suppliers and potential suppliers to gather and analyze data, develop topic specific insights and accomplish given tasks within established deadlines

- Collaborate on discovering, understanding and supporting IT systems in Global Sourcing

- Collaborate in developing supplier assessments, score cards and other analytics to enable the team to effectively manage supplier performance

- Consult and train (1:1 setting and in a classroom) on managed processes, policies associated with them as well as the tools & forms necessary to enable processes. This may include developing training curriculum, materials and management of the effort

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • 3 years of analytical, supply chain or other relevant experience
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
  • Analytical skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Able to produce and use reports, tools and forms to accomplish one’s work
  • Ability to learn and interpret company policies/procedures related to the team’s activities
  • Proficient with desktop applications and adept at using enterprise systems
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Experience interacting with suppliers/vendors or similar relationship management roles
  • Computer skills, which must include proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Prefer knowledge of supply chain systems such as Oracle, Ariba, etc.
