About this position:
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Registered Nurse(CN II) in ICCU is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of critical care theory, the implementation of patient care in this setting, the ability to practice independently,serves as a resource person, preceptor, and relief charge nurse and under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse (CN II) proficiently implements the nursing process for clients with complex diagnoses.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR certification andcurrent ACLS certification.
- One (1) year current medical/surgical, ICU/CCU or specialty area experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of critical care competencies within 6 months of employment.
- Specialty certification in Critical Care (CCRN) nursing and Spanish speaking experience preferred.
This position is represented by SEIU, Local 121RN, and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
