CNC Machinist

Location: Trenton, NJ

Shift: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm 8:00am-4:30pm
6 Month Contract to Hire

Description:

Candidate will be responsible for running a ¾ axis CNC machine where they will be making fiber optic parts.They will be running a MAZAK Intergrex Machine as well as Haas Machines.

The company does experimental production, low pressure and not high speed.

Responsibilities include:

• Set-up and operation of multi-axis CNC milling, turning, and mill/turn equipment.
• Prior experience using Haas, & Mazak controls desirable.
• R&D facility producing first article and engineering proof of concept components.

Must haves:

* Understanding / editing of EIA code, MasterCam
* Experience machining: Plastics, Aluminum and Stainless Steel
* Blueprint and Schematic Reading
* Ability to work independently
* Programming, setup, completion, of short run components
