Primary Responsibilities:


Entering prescriptions and verifying appropriate information, contacting patients, pharmacists and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues

Processing prescriptions (from intake to order completion)

Resolving customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided

Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record

Proficient in the utilization of software programs such as Microsoft Office, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications

Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods of close vision looking at a computer monitor

Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, floor activity

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED completed OR 10 years of equivalent working experience
Must have a valid California State Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician License
Must have 2+ years of work experience as a pharmacy technician
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application
Available to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required according to the needs of the business
Familiarity with STARS (Medicare) Rating  
Preferred Qualifications:

Typing ability 30+ WPM
Pharmacy/ prescription data entry experience
Ability to document chart notes, and effectively present information and respond to questions from those within the organization as well as to groups outside of the company
Able to organize and manage multiple priorities
