3rd Shift Machining Associate: $12.00/hr - $14.00/hr
Our client, a Metal Fabrication Company, in Westfield IN, has asked us to help them find a Machining Associate to join their team. This is a 3rd shift opportunity and the hours are from 12:00am – 8:30am. If you have mechanical ability and can learn quickly this company will invest in you with training. Experience running Turret, Brake Press, or Laser machine is preferred. You will set up the machine to punch sheet steel and aluminum, including editing programs and working with machine codes. You will complete production runs per job order specifications. You will perform quality inspections using calipers and immediately correct errors. You also will move sheet metal for punching and stage finished product for pick up.

What will I be doing:
- Ideal candidates will have prior Turret experience and the ability to program the machine to correct errors detected during quality inspections. CNC Turret Punch experience preferred.
- Use calipers and other measurement tools for inspections.
- Set up production runs to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap. Accuracy and quality are critical.
- Ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and prioritize as job activities will vary.
