$16 an hour Blender Operator Opening!! - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

In this position you will be responsible for monitoring 1 to 4 machines. This will require you to perform a variety of checks on the machines throughout your shift. You will document the information on the appropriate record sheets at the appropriate times. Once documented on sheets you will transfer the information to the computer. You will also help with washing out tanks when switching products. Basic maintenance will be required on the machines including preventative maintenance check as well as some minor repairs.

Work Environment:

The noise levels are generally loud. There are a lot of different smells depending on the product they are running as well as smoke and dust at times. Some equipment will require you to climb stairs and wear a respirator.

Qualifications:

MUST:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to work independently or as a team.
• Able to read and write work orders
• Good hand dexterity
• Able to perform basic arithmetic
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, crouch or climb for a 12 hour shift

PLUS:

• Previous work in a foundry
• Previous work in a manufacturing setting or a farm
