Certified IV Pharmacy Technician-1st shift

Job functions:

• Involved in daily clean-room operations that include preparing, admixing, and compounding of pharmaceutical grade doses as required by supervising pharmacist.
• Involved in daily IV admixing that includes small volume, large volume, and other parental solutions.
• Involved in facility's General Cleanliness that includes clean-room, ante-room, and general areas of the pharmacy.
• Involved in stocking drugs and other supplies.

Qualification:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician by PTCB
• Current TSBP Registration
• IV Certification
• Must be able to work from 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience. Open to someone from retail or another industry but must have good knowledge of gowning process and pharmaceutical calculations. I would prefer to send someone that does have some IV experience.
• Needs someone who can remained focused for long time periods, work well with a team, and stand on their feet for the whole shift.
