We have a part-time opening for a Direct Support Professional.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
- No experience required.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Background check required.
Wage: $11.00 Hour
Requirements
The Direct Support Professional works with individuals who have mild to profound disabilities. These individuals require training and assistance in personal hygiene and self-care, motor skills, vocational skills, work habits, communication and social skills, behavior self-management, community survival and recreation and leisure. Must be at least 18 years old and desire to work with individuals at various levels of functioning. Effective verbal and interpersonal skills, clear written communication, basic arithmetic skills and ability to read, comprehend and use job related written materials. You will provide hand-over-hand assistance to individuals. May help to lift individuals in and out of wheelchairs. Need to have a valid driver's license, clear driving record, and motor vehicle insurance and own vehicle to transport individuals. Training will be provided.
