Job purpose
Milosi is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help expand our services by directing the selling of our Maintenance and Construction Services. A key role is developing a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues while maintaining customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a solid knowledge of horticulture, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to create beautiful landscapes through attention to details and by partnering with fellow team members and the best vendors/ subcontractors in the landscape business.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead and motivate our growing sales team
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding sales and services in a timely manner
- 50% of sales should come from repeat business
- Communicate well and effectively and follow one of the company’s core values, ‘We Listen Because We Care’.
- Manage the preparation and presentation of project bid documents
- Develop, estimate, and close commercial maintenance contracts
- Produce at least 2 documented process improvements each year
- Produce innovative and cutting edge conceptual landscape designs utilizing computer drafting programs/hand drawn if necessary
- Perform such other activities as may be temporarily or permanently assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years in leadership sales position
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver License issued by a U.S. State or Territory.
- Have and maintain qualifying MVR for company auto insurance.
- Ability to interact professionally with all customers, team members, and those from external organizations.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
