  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university AND 4 to 5 years of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in an existing social media and/or creative writing role is required; 
  • Understanding of relevant social media metrics, including Reach, Engagement, and CPA is required.
  • Experience in managing content creation and distribution for large corporation or social agency is a plus;
  • Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with other business units to form strong cross org and cross enterprise wide relationships
  • Strong collaborative/ team work skills; a problem solver with a results orientation; Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers and data to produce meaningful insights

 

We are seeking a passionate, energetic and flexible individual to join our team as Social Media Coordinator II. Our team focuses on building engaging content across Sling’s social media platforms, including; Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

The scope of the role may include but isn't limited to developing social media strategies and designing plans to increase engagement and strengthen relationships with our device and programming partners. S/he will work cross functionality across the enterprise with key stakeholders from relevant business groups to meet all business requirements.

S/he should be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, taking the initiative, managing multiple projects, and working to find creative solutions as needed.

 

The Responsibilities

  • Implement the social media strategy for Sling across all relevant social media platforms.
  • Manage content execution, including writing and scheduling posts.
  • Define and maintain Sling content calendar across all social platforms.
  • Work with other digital team members to coordinate content boosting opportunities.
  • Conduct over the phone interviews with programming talent.
  • Understand and make recommendations of emerging social technologies.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions based on social best practices and trends.
