Healthcare Claims Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Technicians review any and all request(s) (prior authorizations, step therapy, formulary exception) regarding a rejection on the retail pharmacy end. Each candidate will review certain criteria and guidelines that are set by CMS and auditory team to either reject or approve the medication/prescription. They will review the request and look through previous materials, and also outreach out to the clinic regarding certain situations to obtain needed information the team is restricted by turnaround time (24-48 hours) very fast-paced work environment. There are a lot of cases, assigned cases, role rotations - each day is different with trying new thing. Some patients will receive customer calls regarding medications. Outreach is abundant, briefly discuss clinical information.
