The

Planning Analyst role is responsible for forecasting sales and inventory of

basic styles and ensuring that replenishment orders are timely, meet plan

requirements and satisfy customer demand.

The Planning Analyst will partner with the Merchandise Planners and

Buyers to develop basic stock strategies drive the execution of the financial

plan and ensure that each style has the proper inventory investment given

sales trend.

Primary

Responsibilities

* Forecast sales,

margin and inventory turn by month, at the style-color level and ensure that

proper inventory model stocks are set and replenishment receipts are on order

* Plan and project

receipt flow for basic items to support sales forecasts and trends in Logility

* Manage basic model

stock levels in Logility to support sales forecasts

* Partner with the

Planning and Buying team to analyze

current sales trends and open receipt forecast at a brand level and adjust the

basic replenishment strategy based on meeting outcome

* Communicate basic

style sales and inventory performance to forecast to key stakeholders weekly

* Analyze basic style

performance and report on key trends with actionable recommendation to

maximize style performance

* Partner with buying

teams to develop basic style launch and exit strategies

* Support an

environment that fosters respect for the ideas of others as well as ongoing

collaboration to execute business strategy

* Establish, nurture,

and utilize internal and external partners to drive the business

* Facilitate ongoing communication

with the buying teams

Education and Experience:

Fluent in retail mathStrong analytical

skills Communicate clearly

in oral and written formAdapt easily to

changing situations and demonstrate flexibility in juggling prioritiesKnowledge of all MS

Office applications. Working Excel skills a must.Comfortable

conducting database queries and creating reports. Experienced at manipulating

data from multiple sources.Retail experience

preferred. Online experience a plusBachelor's Degree or

equivalent training and experience1 - 2 years of

analytical or related experience
