Production Worker

This is a 3 month project with the opportunity to go perm based on performance.

The project is making blinds for a large condo building

Job duties will include:

• Using a screw driver to tighten screws on the electronic blind motor
• Taking long poles that are the main structure for the blinds to the table saw and pushing the pole against the pre-set measurement block (by the manager) and then cutting straight down with the chop saw.
• Using a drill press to drill holes in the rails
• Pushing the plastic caps into the ends of the poles.
• Wrapping and packaging the ready to ship blinds into boxes or crates.
• Inspect parts as you are cutting/assembling them to check for damages
• Read blue prints for dimensions and preform step by step instructions
• Sweeping the floors in slow times
