Construction-Project Engineer

Our client is looking for a Project engineer with FDOT experience and is looking to move quickly!

Job description:

• Assist in cost control activities, updating and projection of progress schedules, and preparation of progress payment requisition.
• Assist in preparation of change order proposals and drafting of change orders to subcontractors and vendors.
• Performs quantity surveys, prepares bid packages, analyzes subcontract bids, and performs cost computation.
• Prepares construction execution plan, progress schedule, and computes labor and equipment requirements under general supervision.
• Extracts budget from estimate.
• Provides technical support to crew operations, field engineers and superintendents.
• Submittals (prepare and review) - Manages submittal process, i.e. RFIs, RFMs, RFCs, Shop Drawings, Work Orders, Supplemental Agreements, etc.

Qualifications

2-5 years heavy highway, civil or bridge construction*

FDOT Experience*

B.S. in Civil engineering or CM*
