We are leading the way in healthcare technology.This position is within the Financial Operations Team which is the central department for Billing, Accounts Receivable, Cash Application and Collections.  This position resides in the Centralized Billing Department, and will work closely with the PeopleSoft deployment team.  Primary Responsibilities:


Act as billing and revenue subject matter expert on ERP business deployments and other billing projects

Define billing requirements for ERP tool deployments. Review technology documents to ensure all requirements are captured

Conduct system testing, and represent billing on daily testing calls to discuss issues

Communicate and translate the ERP tool functionality to business partners

Communicate the system’s accounting functions to business partners

Communicate the system’s billing functions to business partners

Document/track business process issues and tasks for deployments
Review customer contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and accounting standards

Research and learn contracts and revenue recognition tool functionality.  Design business process that integrates with the tool.  Document the design and integration

Work with IT departments to insure proper definition/scope of billing and revenue concepts are accurately working in billing systems

Define contract and revenue requirements for ERP tool deployments. Review technology documents to ensure all requirements are captured

Conduct system testing, and represent contracts and revenue on daily testing calls to discuss issues

Communicate and translate the ERP tool functionality to business partners

Create training materials and lead training sessions

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience interpreting complex legal contracts and applying billing and revenue recognition accounting concepts

3+ years of experience business to business contract billing or project costing billing experience

Understanding of various pricing and revenue structures

Experience in gathering large amounts of data for processing within a billing system

Experience leading projects, driving for resolution, keeping large amounts of information organized, and testing systems

Intermediate experience in MS Excel (pivot table and V look ups)

Advanced communication skills both verbal and written

Experience documenting accounting policies and processes

Ability to multi-task and adjust schedules to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Quick learning agility, resourceful, self-motivated, and works independently

Ability to problem-solve.  Gather and analyze information skillfully

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with conflicting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:


Intermediate experience with Visio

Ability to create workflow, charts and graphs

Experience in large scale ERP environment

Prior experience working in a global organization
