Principal Scientist - Full-time / Part-time

The Principal Scientist will be responsible for supervising 4 chemists who are performing raw material release, finish product release, and method transfer of product lines to their site.

The breakup of this Scientists day will be:
50% of time will include supervisory responsibilities and mentoring chemists on the team
Run department meetings relating to method transfer including discussing the transfer process and technical issues
Planning and coordinating method transfer/method verification activities in the transfer of analytical methods from other facilities
Establish timelines and deadlines and monitor completion of projects to ensure project timelines are met
Train new and existing employees on analytical methods
Perform performance reviews

40% of time will be around quality assurance/documentation responsibilities
Analyze the obtained results and prepare verification reports after the execution of verification protocols
Review/update/approve documentation including protocols, test methods, SOPs, raw material, finished product specification, etc
Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions

10% of time will be in the lab mentoring chemists
Troubleshooting and running analysis of method transfers/method verification that chemists are struggling with
Reviewing technical data of HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry analysis
