Quality Technician -- CMM Programmer

Quality Technician – CMM Programmer – Clinton Township, MI area

Dynamic growing injection molding client/company is seeking an experienced (minimum 2 years experience) PCDMIS CMM Programmer.  Position is full time, permanent, and day shift.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Uphold and communicate the principles of company
• Create effective CMM programs that meet part / program requirements; this should be done PRIOR to mold sample submission.
• Complete accurate CMM measurements
• Perform gage R&R studies
• Complete inspection documentation in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Conduct 100% inspection of parts and assemblies in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Inspect first article components and assemblies in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Effectively communicate with Process Tech as to the inspection results of sample parts/assemblies.
• Effectively communicate with the Program Manager as to the inspection results of prototype sample parts/assemblies.
• Effectively communicate with the Quality Engineer as to the inspection results of production sample parts/assemblies.
• As needed, effectively communicate with Tooling Engineer as to the inspection results of sample parts/assemblies.
• Logs, summarizes and reports non-conforming product occurrences
• Coordinate with tooling and/or outside sources to procure customer fixtures to support metrology needs.
• Support floor inspections as needed.
• Handle general questions and requests associated with part/assembly conformance to requirements or as requested by the Quality Manager.

Salary range: $20.00 to $30.00 p/h.  NO VISA SPONSORSHIPS.  Relocating assistance is available
