Positions in this function assist in creating /routing pharmacy orders through receipt, review and verification of members' prescriptions. Preps and scans documents, verifies member data, submits orders in computer system. May contact members to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order. Interprets physicians' prescriptions and creates order, accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription and reimbursement information from computer system, as permitted by state regulations. Incumbents typically are not licensed pharmacy technicians. May include licensed pharmacy technicians doing non-technician work.

Maintaining the Dashboard

Issue Resolution and Research

Supply Inventory and Ordering (USPS Trays, Sleeves, APC?s. Tags, Meter Ink. Printer parts and Toner etc.)

Service Calls and Repair Tracking/Reporting, Inserters, Printers and Postage Meters

Working with Customers (HDP and PAS) on production and testing needs

PAS Template testing

Data capture

Address Validation in test environment

HDP ORTF and Ad hoc mailing requests

Quality review of Job Submission

Sampling

Approvals

Reporting Volumes

HDP vs PAS

User Performance

Equipment Error

Workflow monitoring

GMC Inspire (PAS letters)

Neopost Print Machine (HDP letters)

Moderate work experience within own function

Some work is completed without established procedures

Basic tasks are completed without review by others

Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks

Required Qualifications:


High School Diploma/GED

Microsoft Office Application experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:


Experience in mail room operations
Soft Skills:


Ability to hold telephone conferences with vendors/USPS
