Senior Quality Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

Position Summary
The preferred candidate understands and supports the Quality activities of an ISO9001:2008 company. The individual interacts
with all functional levels within the facility while performing the following quality assurance responsibilities: mechanical and
optical inspection of incoming material and production parts during all phases of the product cycle, documentation of quality
processes, participation in internal and supplier Quality system audits, and implementation of preventative and corrective
actions.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate measurement set ups and inspections of both simple and complex plastic injection molded components utilizing a variety of standard measurement devices.
• Performs first article, first piece, in process and final inspection.
• Utilizes statistical tools to analyze data resulting from inspection and test programs.
• Creates and maintains company quality records, logs and procedures in an organized and accurate manner.
• Calibrates instruments according to standards and procedures.
• Provides recommendations to streamline processes and assist in the development of new test programs.
• Conducts internal and supplier audits as required under the guidance of Quality Systems Manager.
• Leads or participates in special projects as assigned by Quality Systems Manager.
• Supports continuous improvement and quality systems activities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
