ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates various types of material handling equipment
- Loads and unloads pallets and cartons of CPE and Materials used in daily TWC operations
- Receives CPE and Materials against a Bill of Lading or Purchase Order validating quantities and updating CHAT or PeopleSoft inventory systems in accordance with TWC audit requirements
- Stocks CPE and Materials in designated inventory locations and informs Management of shortages or damages
- Ensures CPE and Materials are stored safety in designated inventory locations in accordance with TWC audit requirements
- Processes orders and returns using inventory and billing systems (CHAT, PeopleSoft, CSG and ICOMS)
- Processes Material Stock Requests using PeopleSoft
- Assures Technician receipts for new/used equipment are accurate and signed by both the technician and warehouse personnel
- Manages delivery of CPE and Materials to retail stores, off-site warehouses and/or other TWC locations as needed
- Assists in preparing, counting and reconciling of daily, monthly and annual CPE and materials cycle counts and inventories
- Provides excellent service to internal and external customers
- Maintain warehouse area security at all times
- Proper use and care of scanners and computers used in daily operations
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly and safe warehouse environment
- Performs other associated duties as assigned
JOB RELATED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must possess strong customer service skills and a commitment toward internal/external customer satisfaction
- Requires ability to process basic transactions in inventory and billing systems (CHAT, PeopleSoft, CSG and ICOMS)
- Word and Excel experience preferred
- Must possess strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to constructively meet and communicate with all levels of employees
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state in which you reside and safe driving record
- Must be able to gain a working knowledge of new and existing parts and products offered by TWC
- Data entry and basic typing skills required
- Must be able to work in a fast paced high stress environment
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Work Experience:
- Two years of experience in a material handling environment
Mental Demands:
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently
- Must demonstrate self-motivation and ability to perform effectively in a multi-tasking environment
- Must possess the ability to analyze and solve tactical problems
- Requires the ability to be observant and anticipate problems
Physical Demands:
- Primary work environment includes frequent standing and walking
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of weights up to 75 lbs.
- Loading, unloading and driving delivery vans and box trucks
- Frequent typing and interfacing with computers and scanners
- Working in warehouses, docks, outside stock yards and retail/payment centers
Human Relations:
- Interacts extensively with Technical Operations, Contractors, Construction, Engineering, inventory control, CPE repair providers and warehouse personnel
Materials and Special Equipment Used:
- Computer, printer, telephone, company vehicle, forklift, pallet jack, ladders, calculator, copier, and scanning equipment
- Ability to operate large company owned delivery and material handling vehicles which measure in excess of 24’ in length
