Home Instead Senior Care-Southwest Allegheny County and Washington County is adding to our team of passionate and dedicated of office support staff.  As a small team, we all wear many different hats during the day and we also pitch in to back up our on call team after hours and weekends.

We are looking for a versatile and passionate person to join our team in our Bethel Park office!  Its a VERY busy office and the Office Coordinator position will support all areas of the business by providing excellent Customer Service and Administrative Support.  

We are looking for someone who is able to... 

ORGANIZE themselves and their tasks!
You must be able to multi task, have energy to keep up with the pace and not get flustered when multiple calls/requests come in at same time.  You must be able to know what task take precedence over others in order to keep the business moving forward. You must have above average experience with MS Office products, have knowledge of online recruiting and ability to write for various mediums (handbooks, training materials, social media)

Maintain a POSITIVE outlook!
Let's face it, sometimes working with human beings can get interesting!  When the going gets tough, the tough get going!  We need positive people to keep the energy and mood up in the office to keep moving forward in the face of obstacles like rapid start clients on a Friday or multiple call offs before 9am.  

Be FLEXIBLE and RESPONSIBLE!
The successful candidate must demonstrate maturity in communications, critical thinking in problem solving and accountability in accomplishing performance expectations.  Flexibility in adapting to change in addition to flexibility with your work schedule is a must!  Sometimes we have to work late to make sure our clients have a CAREGiver, in addition, we all rotate backup for weekend on call.  We are a 24/7 business so our jobs are not 9-5 all of the time. You must be able to adapt your schedule based on business needs- this includes working late at least one night per week for evening training, interviewing or phone coverage. 

TAKE PRIDE IN HELPING OTHERS!
This position will be supporting clients, CAREGivers and other Key Players in an effort to provide stellar service at a high quality level.  You will support the staffing team as well. We are not interested in just filling a shift.  We are building relationships. It may seem small, but everything we do MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Be COMPASSIONATE but FIRM!
Yes, our business survives on building strong relationships but we are also a business. Customer Service to Clients, CAREGivers and Co-Workers needs to be stellar but, there are rules and everyone on the team must be accountable to learning the processes, to work without creating unnecessary drama and represent Home Instead on a professional level.  
 
  • PAID Training on our processes and systems will be provided.
  • This position is a Full-Time, Salaried position for a small business operating 24/7.  The Office Coordinator position is a great place to demonstrate your professional experience if you have an interest in the home care industry.  After mastering the basics of the Service Coordinator position, we can expose you to other areas that you will support including HR, Client Services and Operations Management.
