Lab Specimen Processing Technician- Laboratory- Afternoon Shift- Full Time - Full-time / Part-time

Receives specimens and checks for proper and complete patient information and identification according to established laboratory policies and procedures. Prepares specimens for analysis by ensuring specimen types and volumes are adequate, ordering tests in the LIS, centrifuging, aliquoting and routing to appropriate sections of laboratory. Supports telephone customer service needs. High school education or equivalent with basic knowledge of grammer, spelling, punctuation and simple math.

Experience: Two to three years laboratory related experience preferred.
