POSITION SUMMARY

This role is a critical position that supports the Director of New Albany NACMST to ensure the unit achieves its strategic objectives.

Fundamental Components:

Exhibits the following Sr. Administrative Assistant Behaviors

* Collects, compiles, and analyzes data and provides summaries and observations to director

* Supports Daily Calendar Management

* Manages day-to-day administrative and planning functions

* Budget coordinator: monitors, tracks, and researches

* Assists in preparing required budget reporting (e.g., variance)

* May participate in special projects

* Coordinates office facilities including space, lease, furniture, equipment, building and telephone system maintenance

* Involved in HR activities for the unit including; job posting, recruiting, interview process, new hire installation, office setup, annual comp process, organization hierarchy, time and attendance, etc.

* Mentors less experienced administrative support staff

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

1+ years administrative or technical support experience.

Microsoft office experience (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

EDUCATION

The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
