Pay: $16-$17/hr
Hours: M-F / 11:00-7:30 or 8:00/Saturdays: 9a-3p (alternating). If you work on Saturday you will have a weekday off the following week

Job Responsibilities
* Monitors the index queue.
* Accurately attaches images to patient referral/profile.
* Sets the priority level for the referral,
* Transcribes the prescription and patient information from the referral documentation into the system for processing.
* Obtains refill prescriptions for continued treatment.
* Manages calls to and from internal and external customers for clarification of prescriptions, requesting further information or to inform them of a delay in services due to lack of needed information.
* Transfers Prescription Call Backs to a Pharmacist in order to complete the intake/referral of a patient for services.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements:
* Must have a Texas pharmacy technician license (TSBP) that's active, with no disciplines.
* Basic High School and additional specialized training in pharmacy/medical benefit access and requirements.
* 1 to 3 years of experience in healthcare customer service with knowledge of benefits access processes.
* Some jurisdictions where this role is performed may require that team members maintain endorsement as a Certified Pharmacy Technician and report through a Pharmacist Manager, in addition to the above requirements
