Medicare Patient Sales Specialist (PSS)

Position Overview:
- The PSS plays a critical role with the interaction of potential customers and parents/caretakers to onboard new patients to Dexcom's Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) products.
- You ensure a high quality experience for each patient by appropriately engaging and connecting with them by answering incoming calls, placing calls, assisting the patient with any questions or inquiries around device functionality and on-going use of the Dexcom CGM system.
- Because you understand the value of providing a superior customer experience, you take pride in your ability to successfully triage and disposition patient inquiries.
- You are a strong partner with Field Sales & Marketing as you follow up on generated leads and opportunities from those teams.

Job Duties:
- Contact and follow-up with new patients.
- Describe the benefits of CGM and Dexcom as you determine the patients' needs, fit and financial feasibility with them.
- Understand an communicate Medicare criteria and process
- Educate patients about CGM by being a subject matter expert on Dexcom products functionality, comparison to competing products and diabetes.
- Assess, persuade and convert new patients to Dexcom CGM Therapy solutions.
- Have a strong ability to overcome objections (primarily cost)
- Consistently achieve monthly sales quotas and key performance metrics.
- Accurately enter patient's health insurance and medical history into company database including conduct benefits investigations and conveying coverage to the customer.
