Certified Welding Inspector - Full-time / Part-time

DESCRIPTION

Perform visual welding/bolting inspections, radiography and UT testing as well precast concrete inspections.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4 years' experience is required.
• Previous experience with visual welding inspection, record and working knowledge of radiography is preferred.
• Experience with concrete, PCI, API, AWWA, and/or ASME guidelines is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Technician also must be able to write detailed reports and communicate with GC/Client in regards to conditions encountered.

Education/Experience/Certifications:

• Must have an American Welding Society certified welding inspector certification or ICC Structural Welding and /or Bolting Special Inspector Certification.
• A Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) without College Degree is a minimum 10 years' experience
• A Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with College Degree or Tech School Certification needs 5 years' experience
• Valid Driver's License
• ICC Special Inspector - Structural Steel and Bolting Inspector
• ICC Special Inspector - Structural Welding Special Inspector
