Maintenance Mechanics Needed!!

Express has partnered with a manufacturer in Johnson County to help them find some Maintenance Mechanics for 2nd and 3rd shift. This company is looking for qualified candidates to bring onto their payroll. They offer medical and dental benefits, a 401k with a 4% match and more!

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing company and have Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge. Any experience PLC troubleshooting is a huge plus as well.

• 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm
• 3rd shift: 11pm-7am
• Pay: $18-$35/hour based on experience!

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining the machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines/equipment by performing the following duties: 

• Visually inspects and tests machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions and dismantles devices to gain access to problem areas.
• Installs new or repaired parts and replaces faulty mechanical, control, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Also installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• Cleans work area, tools and equipment.
• Operate robots and perform end of arm tooling teach-outs and change overs.
• Other duties as assigned.
