Partner Development Director

About the Opportunity

Pitney Bowes is seeking a Partner Development Director for Global Ecommerce. The Partner Development team drives revenue from our partnerships with e-commerce platforms, integrated partners, and middleware providers that consume our technology and services through public and private Application Program Interfaces (APIs) or as a qualified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Partner Development team works as an extension of the Global Sales and Business Development organization and will contribute to the value of a consistent and coordinated partner enablement program working collaboratively with product development, marketing and operations to develop stronger partner relationships. Our solutions, which help businesses of all sizes conduct billions of dollars in commerce domestically and internationally, include multi-carrier shipping and logistics, cross border trade, location services, payment and cost management.

In this role, you will manage relationships with global ecommerce partners to ensure success using Pitney Bowes technology and logistics solutions. Within your portfolio, you will be responsible for partner onboarding, revenue growth, satisfaction, and communications. In addition, you will identify new business opportunities and build business cases for future product enhancements. You must be detail oriented, possess a strategic skillset and be a trusted advisor for partners. Strong relationship management, communication, and sales skill are required. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate with C-level executives, technical personnel and be a contributing member across the ecommerce team.

  • Build strong partner relationships
  • Develop annual partner roadmaps and revenue plans
  • Track and help prioritize external product and partner support commitments
  • Drive revenue by working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct quarterly QBR’s with managed partner accounts
  • Be a solutions expert who identifies new revenue generating opportunities through both existing and new product features
  • Annually increase portfolio revenue
  • Be an industry adviser

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years Sales, Business Development or Account Management experience required, ecommerce and shipping industry preferred
  • Experience selling and supporting SAAS and API’s 
  • Minimum of 4 years relationship management experience
  • Proven ability to be a strategic problem solver
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong professional presence; comfortable working with C-level
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
